Performance Data COLOR(S): Clear, Colorless Liquid. PRODUCT TYPE: Phosphoric Acid Metal & Concrete Pretreatment Solution. DESCRIPTION: TS-695 Etching Cleaner cleans concrete, fiberglass, aluminum, steel and many other surfaces. It attacks rust, corrosion and oxidation from crevices as well as smooth surfaces. Oil, grease, dirt, exhaust and chemical stains disappear quickly and completely. Removes easily and safely exhaust and chemical stains, oxides and corrosion from aluminum, zinc and cadmium plate as well as iron and steel. TS-695 Etching Cleaner is an excellent pretreatment solution to be used on concrete floors prior to application of coatings and sealers by removing unwanted contaminants from the floor and neutralizing lime and by-products on the surface which may seriously impair the coatings’ ability to form a good bond to the concrete. Intended Use: Removes stains, oxides and corrosion from metal and other surfaces. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use full strength to condition all metals prior to painting. Excellent for etching galvanized metals prior to painting. Rinse surfaces thoroughly with clear water before solution dries and resets on the surface. Do not use in direct sun or on hot surfaces. Before painting concrete: Use to etch concrete floors, walls, walks, patios, steps and swimming pools. Apply 15-30 square feet at a time agitating with a stiff brush for 10 minutes. Rinse or flush thoroughly. Damp mop surface to pick up excess moisture and residue. Allow surface to dry before applying finish. Use to brighten, clean and remove oxidation on copper, brass, marble vitreous china, on fixtures, boats, shower stalls, heating, refrigeration and water systems. Use full strength or one part TS-695 Etching Cleaner to two parts water.
