Urethane
Reinforced Alkyd
(TS-4) is surprisingly
economical considering the performance and quality this unique
floor coating supplies. An advanced formula that is durable, water
resistant, colorfast and gloss retentive. Provides long lasting
service on all interior and exterior surfaces or anywhere
protection from challenging weather conditions is required. As
with 1-Part Epoxy it utilizes blended resin technology making it a
remarkably durable finish on wood or concrete. Use it to create a
beautiful wood floor or garage floor finish. Use it with
confidence in any exterior application where exposure to water,
hot sun, and extreme wear conditions are typically a problem. Use
it for interior or exterior applications where protection from
heavy foot traffic or abrasion is a concern. It dries quickly and
self levels to a hard finish that is excellent for wood, concrete,
metal, fiberglass and aluminum. It is self-leveling, resists
chipping, cracking peeling and chalking when properly applied.
Use Urethane Reinforced Alkyd as an economical garage floor
coating, industrial floor coating, hardwood floor finish or as an
alternative to typical epoxy floor coatings.
TS-160 Accelerator/Hardener is
recommended in all flooring applications. For added slip
resistance in high traffic areas add 1 lb
Gaco-Grip or
Tred-Tex
slip resistant paint
additives on a per gallon basis. These non slip paint additives
are available on our supplies page. (See
TS-222 Floor Grip or
TS-110
Posi-Trak for non-skid coating applications). Not available
in clear. Sanding, grinding, blasting or power-washing is
recommended but not required with this product due to its superior
adhesion. Cold weather applications down to 35F are acceptable.

Stats:
VOC compliant. Covers 350-400
square feet per gallon on porous surfaces such as concrete and
500+ square feet when sprayed on non porous surfaces. Dry to the
touch in 2-4 hours. Pot life: Not applicable * High in solid
content so it will require dilution in most applications.
Available in 100 floor paint colors. Custom colors available on
request for an additional $10.00 per gallon. Available in one
gallon and five gallon containers semi-gloss and gloss finishes.
Recommended preparation:
Refer to Application Instructions
Sheet included with order, label directions and standard industry
application practices. For best results remove existing epoxy
floor coatings, old floor paint, loose scale, wax, oil and
contaminates. For best results sand, blast, grind or power-wash
prior to the application of any primer or coating. Use of the use
of
TS-695 Etching Cleaner
is strongly recommend . All surfaces must be
thoroughly dry and free of contaminates before the application of
any floor coating system.
Recommended primers:
Self priming on well prepared
concrete, masonry and porous tile in two coats. Thin first coat

TS-101 Thinner then
apply second coat undiluted. A third coat may be applied for added
durability. 1-Part Epoxy Clear may be applied as a finish coat,
however, it’s use is not required.
