Mono-Coat Epoxy Clear (TS-200) has been formulated to be applied direct to most surfaces including concrete, tile or masonry or as a protective clear top coating over Mono-Coat Epoxy or other color coating systems. It’s all about getting the job done easily, economically and quickly. Now anyone that can roll up their sleeves and run a paint roller can apply this durable single component epoxy floor clear coating without the worry of cracking or peeling!

Even better you can do it yourself in just one day knowing your application is guaranteed to adhere* for 10 full years, withstand spilled fuel, battery acid, radiator coolant, brake fluid and heat to 350F.  It lasts for years, even decades, in commercial, industrial and retail venues.

If you’ve researched competing epoxy clear coatings it’s a good bet they require blasting, sanding, and moister testing on concrete. That’s because the resins they use don’t penetrate the surface like our solvent-based (see oil) coatings do. With Mono-Coat Epoxy adhesion is *guaranteed without grinding, blasting, sanding or moisture testing - just clean with our water-based cleaner, allow it to dry thoroughly and roll it on – its that easy. It is economical to use because only one coat is required. When used as a garage floor sealer it provides superior performance and durability without the worry of hot tire pick up, staining or marring.

Power washing, sanding, grinding, blasting is always beneficial but not required with it due to the superior adhesion of Mono-Coat Epoxy. Cold weather applications down to 20F are acceptable. Stats: Covers 250-275 square feet per gallon on porous surfaces such as concrete and 350+ square feet when sprayed on non porous surfaces. Dry to the touch in 2-4 hours. Pot life: Not applicable. Very high in solid content so it will require dilution in spray applications. Available in 100 floor paint colors. Custom colors available on request for an additional $10.00 per gallon. Available in one gallon and five gallon containers satin and gloss finishes.

Recommended preparation: Refer to Application Instructions Sheet included with order, label directions and standard industry application practices. For best results remove existing epoxy floor coatings, old floor paint, loose scale, wax, oil and contaminates. For best results sand, blast, grind or power-wash prior to the application.  TS-695 Etching Cleaner  is strongly recommended.

Recommended primers: Self-priming on well prepared concrete, masonry and porous tile. When applying multiple coats recommend thinning first coat 25% with TS-101 Thinner  then apply second coat undiluted. Apply Mono-Coat Epoxy Clear for added durability.

Thin & clean up: Use only with factory recommended thinner, TS-101 Thinner. Clean all equipment thoroughly with TS-101 Thinner. or Acetone.

Accelerate/Harden: None required however  TS-160 Accelerator/Hardener improves chemical resistance, hardness and speeds the dry and cure times.
